Any update on when this feature will be available? Maybe a 3rd part app?

It boggles my mind that it isn't already on the top of the list of additions or already released. 

How can we do REAL e-commerce when we cant get the actual rates for freight and have to use a table that is cumbersome to maintain and doesn't provide the best most cost effective rates for our customers?
