When I started my business earlier this year I was using another software (gasp!) to manage my accounting. Since I have switched to Square, I wanted to add the few transactions from the old software into my Square account so that all of my business transactions are in one place. The problem is the transactions occurred in March and April and I have already paid the taxes on them. But when I loaded them into Square today, they are adding to my total for the month of December...is there a way to update or change the transaction date to reflect when the items were actually purchased vs when the transaction was entered? TIA! 🙂

There is not a way to change the dates of transactions.

I have revenue from multiple streams but love the reporting from Square the best. Is there a way for me to backdate transactions? I want to enter in the total I've received from other venues so I have a full report of sales for each month.

Hi @Nicholasmcgirr,
I moved your posts to one of the existing threads for this.
There isn't a way to change the date or backdate transactions no.
