Online Booking

When clients book online and you have no show protection set up. They enter their card info.

My questjons are:

Does the system automatically charge them for the service booked the day of ? Or do they pay normally through swipe of square reader.

If they cancel or reschedule outside of allowed window time. Do I manually charge their card through square reader with the info they stored in the system? Or does the sytem do it through online booking?

When I hit cancel appointment. I don't see an option to "charge" or process card info for cancellation fees.

I want to make sure I don't double charge my clients.

Thanks !!

Hi @Mandylynnalb18

Welcome to the Seller Community and thanks for posting 👍🏼

No-show protection will only charge your customers card if you, or your customer, cancels outside of your cancellation window.

If they show up for their appointment, you'll want to charge them through Point of Sale or the Appointments app.

If you have your cancellation policy in place, you should receive a pop-up window that reminds you of the policy in place.
