Adding pictures to categories

Is there a reason after all these years and we still can’t use pictures as categories? Square is the only point of Sale software that has ugly categories.

This is a pretty popular feature request and it's something our Items Team is aware of. They're currently tracking the interest for this.

I don't have an update on this as of right now, but if anything changes I'll chime back in and let you know.

Totally agree, cant believe after all the interest in having this feature that it' still not available! Come on square, surely its not that hard.

While adding an image is still a feature request, we do offer the ability to customize Categories on tablets. You can change the color, abbreviation, and even add emojis!
