We are setting up a small, unattended farm stall. People can pay cash on an honesty system but we are trying to figure out how to take card payments. Assuming device security is not an issue...any thoughts on how we could use the Square ecosystem to set up a payments solution ?

The Square apps were not designed for Self Service use. There are some companies out there that build out kiosk that works with Square. You can achieve this with a web form via JotForms running off a tablet or accessible on their own device via a URL or QR code.
