Flood Relief Benefit - How can we request waiving fee?

Hello,

 

We are holding a benefit concert to aid flood victims in our area. All bands are donating their time, food for sale is being donated by local civic groups, etc.  We will be using ALL monies raised to directly help families. This is a one day event. Is there a way to create an account for one day (many of us already have readers through business accounts), and recieve a reduction in fees? We have a tax id for the benefit, as well as an account solely for monies raised. Is this something that Square would consider doing?

You would have to contact Square Sales department.  But the fees are the same for non-profit as it is for for profit businesses.  As a registered 501c3 I don't know of anyone that doesn't charge processing fees.
