Reactivating Square Account under checkout tab

I set up my square account and when toggling through payment options for my store under the checkout tab, I guess I deactivated the square payment settings thinking I could use paypal.  Then I saw that I can only use paypal if I upgrade my account which I'm not yet interested in doing.  I clicked on the button that says "reactivate square account" beside this payment option and it doesn't do anything.  When I visit the preview of my page it says that I am not currently accepting payments.  I have yet to publish the website.

Is there another way to get back to being able to use Square to process payments?
