Should I create a new location or just a device nickname?

We're going to start selling at a Farmer's Market in another city than our primary business is located. We have a separate ABC license to sell there. Is it better to create a new location or to create a device name to track the Farmer's Market sales?

Thank you for posting in the Seller Community. Great question!

 

We recommend creating a separate location to better keep track of your sales. Personally, I have seen a few issues here and there where the device nickname did not register and failed to report sales under the appropriate device. Creating and logging into a separate location will minimize any room for error and make it much easier to filter information on your online dashboard.
