Hey @CarrieG - Unfortunately, syncing calendars is only available with Google Calendars at the moment. I can see how having it sync straight from your iPad would be helpful so I'll pass on your post to the Appointments team to consider for future improvements.

In the meantime, there is a way to set Google Calendar as your default calendar on your Apple device. Doing so will sync whatever events you create on your iPad into Google Calendar which can then be synced with your Appointments calendar. It's an extra step, but once set, you shouldn't have to do it again.
