We use Payflow Pro for gateway, will this work with a Square account?

We use Paylfow Pro as our gateway on our website, is this compatible with a Square account? And, if so - where do we get the API information?

I have seen a couple sites that say it can be used, but since Paylfow Pro is a PayPal service why not use PayPal.

To confirm you won't be able to use Payflow Pro with Square. To preserve PCI compliance Square’s APIs do not support payments made with other payment processors.
