Who gets the tip on an untracked employee?

There are two employees, but I see some transactions with an "untracked employee" message. These transactions had tips, who got those tips?

Untracked sales means someone wasn't properly logged into the POS with their 4 digit code. Since those tips are untracked, there's no way to distinguish which staff member collected them.

Is there a way to prevent this from happening? Like preventing a transaction to run without an employee logged in.

You can set the POS to require a password after each sale. Settings > Security > Passcodes.

Also, if you have tipping turned on in the online store it will show up under the the untracked employee.
