Hello all, I have spent the past afternoon trying to understand the terms of reference and allowed transactions for alcohol sales and tobacco sales. For example, one document states that it is illegal to sell hard liquor and another states that alcohol can be sold online if local laws allow. I am in the process of setting up a single malt whisky bar as square has the restaurant/bar app so the sell hard liquor issue seems moot but I also want to sell cigars as I will be pairing them with whisky.

I have been on to square support and they keep referring me to the terms of service and I cannot understand what is right or wrong and want to stay on the good side of square. So a definite yes or no would be appreciated from both in person and online for cigars and in person for whisky.

This process has been a lot harder than it should have in my humble opinion, however I had the website built but want to confirm the rules before I publish
