Product special (3 for $10) Anyone tried this???

Is this possible?  I have tried using a drop down, multiple choice and cannot seem to figure how to make this work.  We have several in-store specials of products being $10 each but if you buy (3) then customer is charged $25.  I have also tried using a coupon to make this happen but that is cumbersome.

You should be able to use a dropdown. So let's say you sell bottles of lotion, 5 different scents. You could list the drop down to have 6 options. 1 for each scent and 1 option for 3 for $10. You could then add a text box for them to specify which ones they want. Does this make sense?

Or are you saying it would be more of a mix & match for certain products? If that is the case the coupon would the only way you would be able to do this.
