Non-profit fundraising event question.

I need to have a hyperlink to a payment page in an emailed invitation to a nonprofit's event without a set amount and also be able to take credit cards at the door. Where do I start?

For transactions at the door use the Square Point of sale app. You can create an item or just enter the amount into the keypad and charge.

You will have to create an online store to get a hyper link to send out. When you do this make sure you select the Square online store on not one of the third parties. Scroll to the bottom. Check out this Thread where I explain how to add a donation item to your store.
