I am with a small association and we will be using invoicing to collect yearly dues. Can a member, invoiced for yearly dues, upgrade to lifetime dues (higher amount) online or would we need to send a new invoice? Brad

What you mentioned is correct. If you set up any form of a recurring invoice or payment schedule, and you wish to change/edit the amount intended to be billed, you would have to send a brand new invoice.
