Are you able to put a certain percentage of your deposit onto the square card, and the rest into your bank account?

When you activate your Square Card, the funds will automatically start accruing in your balance and the deposits will switch to needing to be manually done from there.

However, when you choose to transfer funds to your bank account, you can choose the amount you want to send. So you can leave a percentage of funds on the card and just transfer however much you choose to your bank!
