We had to move our Square account to a new owner (transfer of ownership was not available). We had our gift card balances migrated over from the 'old' business to the new one. After two years we clear the balance of gift cards. Since we migrated them over, we can't figure out how to clear out those balances.
Does anyone know how to clear out balances from cards that were originally issued on the 'old' business?

Hello there @tylerwood and welcome to the Seller Community
In this case, since the Gift Cards were purchased on a separate account the only way to clear the balance for the gift cards would be to do so from the original account or by entering or swiping the gift card in the Point of Sale application.
I know this all sounds a bit complicated but it's a limitation due to the fact that the original transactions cannot be transferred over.
