We do not use a closeout form, as we are relatively small and we use one drawer per day. We do a drawer verification by comparing the drawer report automatically generated by Square at the end of the night with the night drop deposit slip receipt from the bank.

Our coffee shop is right across the street from our bank, so our closing manager makes a night drop each night with only the exact amount from each drawer, so each cash drawer is it's own bank deposit. We can see from there if the amount deposited matches up with how much square says should be in the drawer. 

Note: our policy is that if the drawer is over or under more than $2.00, we require our manager to review every pay in/out and verify with all shift employees what exchanges they made and then the manager writes up a report and signs it.
