We are attempting to find (or build custom) a report that displays sales split between taxable and non taxable over an adjustable time frame with a summary of the totals as well as a detailed accounting of items sold.

Basically we would like the header from the taxes report similar to:

And then the item details underneath but categorized by taxable vs non taxable. Similar to:

Any assistance in putting this together or direction on where to access it is greatly appreciated.

There is currently no report that seperates it with headers. Only thing you can do is put them in Taxable and Non-Tax categories. If you currently use categories then this may not be an option.

I think the problem with Categories is that they are what are used to organize the button layout on the iPad app. Kind of silly that we can't organize the buttons one way on the app, but then group them differently in accounting reports. Seems like it would be a common request to be able to group and subtotal revenue in a way that doesn't exactly correspond with how the system is laid out on the front end.
