The 1099-k is only for gross credit card sales. You'll be responsible for reporting all cash and check sales.

The title of this thread has been edited from the original: Square Cash reporting while using Square Appointments
I use Square Appointments. If I check out my clients using the checkout method via Square Appointments and the customer pays with Cash or check, does Square report the Cash and checks to the IRS or is this my responsibility?

Square does not report cash sales to the IRS, only card sales if you process 20k+ and 200+ card txns in a calendar year (with the execption of Vermont and Massachusetts)
