Has anyone had issues with slow receipt printing and credit card printing?

we are having issues with slow printing.  I have updated printer and contacted star and the printer is working properly.  All cables are connected properly.  I just takes 15-25 seconds for the receipt or credit card slip to print, and we are a busy restaurant and bar.  Nancy

Hi Nancy, Have you considered using a Kitchen Display System such as Bump KDS that shows tickets on a screen? square.bumpkds.com is one of our solution for busy restaurants like yours.

We are having the same issues. We use Epson U220B with UB-E04 and -04 adaptors over Ethernet. Kitchen tickets can take over 20-30 seconds to print when busy - sometimes not printing at all. We turn on/off but we are losing tickets. Any ideas?

Same issue here. There is a long delay in printing customer receipts, food tickets, and CC authorization slips. We just switched over from Upserve POS, which was lightning quick to print. Using some of the same printers and some new. It also frequently just does not print at all. Super inconvenient as we are an extremely busy restaurant. Square needs to fix this issue, we very rarely had the printers go out with Upserve POS, and never any delays in printing.
