Example: Item cost is $3.25 with tax the total is $3.52. I would like to make a discount for $3.52 to zero out the whole transaction. Currently the discount at $3.52 but is only applying to item cost, not including taxes. Is there a way to make the discount apply to taxes too?

If you have taxes setup to calculate and be applied automatically, then the tax should adjust when a discount is applied. For example, if you have your tax set to 5% and an item costs $10, the tax would be 50 cents. If a discount of 20% is applied to bring the item cost down to $8, then Square will adjust so that only 40 cents in tax is charged. Does that make sense?
