Is there a Cordless Scanner for the New Square Register?
We need a cordless barcode scanner that can reach about 50 feet or more from our new square register. The right scanner should be able to tackle one of biggest problems here at the nursery and that is waiting time at the counter while we find the items customers are purchasing in the square software. With our bigger landscaper orders checkout times could exceed 10 minutes and this is just unexceptable. We hope squareup can help. Thank you.
I just asked about this as well. In an email from Square I was told all accessories, including a scanner, are only able to connect with a USB cable. I was hoping for a bluetooth scanner as well! Hope this helps.
Thank you for the feedback. I too was told that there is no Bluetooth type system for wireless accessories. I'm desperate so I'm going to try a 30' USB with the scanner. Hope it works lol. I won't know until May.
