I no longer have access to my dashboard. it is stuck on the Account setting page with no way to get back to invoices, sales summary etc...

Square won't ever make changes to your account with your knowledge, there could be a few reasons that your Dashboard may look a little different.
If you are an employee, your employer may have updated your permissions which may limit your access to the Square Dashboard. If you are the owner of the account, double check the email address that you are using to log in, ensure that it is the email address that you used to create your account.
