Why was rearranging the sections in the online store not addressed in the store upgrade?

There are many great features to the upgrade, however not being able to arrange the product sections in the order we ( store owners) decide is frustrating. Any new sections added to a store are added to the bottom of the list. I sometimes like to put new products and sections at the top of the listings, especially if I am trying to attrack new buyers to a product who are not familiar with how my square store works. I hope a solution to this is found soon. Very soon. ;(

Thanks for writing in. What I can tell you now is, we're working on it.

 

As you know, right now you can't rearrange or drag and drop sections. But we know it's a feature that's important to you (I can certainly see why you'd want to put new products at the top of the page), so it's on our radar.
