Will the order ticket just show new items when they're added to open tickets?

I run a small cafe where we allow some customers to run a tab for the week. we use the open ticket function with their names and just add new items to their open ticket each day. We have the occasional customer who questions the amount/ items placed on their ticket. We can usually go back and see by the item description what was ordered, but is there a way to automatically add a date to each days items so we can show a daily record to the customer?

Welcome to the Seller Community and sorry for the delayed response. 

 

The date that an item was added doesn't populate to an Open Ticket automatically, but you can edit a ticket and add notes to it as a workaround. 

 

You can then note "item added 12/4" or something along those lines that you can reference once the customer decides to pay their Open Ticket.
