for off site customer do i need to plug the square into my i phone or can i just enter credit card # also what other info do ineed from customer thank you

While you're able to manually enter a customers card information with the card number, expiration date, CVV, and postal code, the transaction fee for this type of would be higher.

If you're able to, you should always use a reader to accept a card payment. It's less risk on you as a seller and it also saves you a bit of money with the transaction fee.
