Google indexing and Weebly websites

Good afternoon all.

Having been a fan of Weebly for several years and it is always my "go to" creator when I need to do a website, I was a little surprised today when someone said that with the way "Weebly is constructed. It make most of your content almost unindexable."

Now, as my main site is a business site, I would like to know if the above statement is true or not.

Can anyone help with this please.

Re: Google indexing and Weebly websites

I'm not sure why someone would say that, since it's definitely not true. The only parts of a site that wouldn't be indexed are those which you specifically decide you don't want indexed. This can be done for individual pages or the site itself.

Re: Google indexing and Weebly websites

I received a reply from Weebly to my query, telling me that Google will not index .weebly.com.

My website is vivekrajanand.weebly.com and it does not show up in Google searches.

I'm not sure why you were told that, @VAT. The only time a site would not be indexed, whether using a Weebly.com subdomain or not, is if you specifically check the option in Settings > SEO to hide it from search engines. If you specifically search the site with Google, you can see that it's been indexed properly:
