Is there a way to drop the .html off the end of url as I can't redirect in weebly to a url without? Is there something I can place in the CSS?

It wouldn't be possible right now to remove that, although any page of your site can be accessed without it. For example, if you have a page on your site called "about", both of these URLs will work:

Is this a work in progress for the Weebly team? Dropping the .html? Just curious, as I'd like this feature (or a workaround), too.

I would look forward to hearing about a work around or a way to not have it appear, especially if it works either way.

Yes i'm interested too. Contemplating about upgrading my plan depending on when this will be implemented. Will it be done so soon? Thanks.

Hi Adam,
I'm using Google Console and trying to submit a sitemap file as it apparently helps Google better understand how to crawl my site.
However, when I link my URLs because of the HTML, it is coming up with the error 'Your Sitemap appears to be an HTML page. Please use a supported sitemap format instead.'
Is there any way around this? Thanks in advance.

What URL are you submitting as the URL of your sitemap? It should be your site address followed by /sitemap.xml, e.g. mydomain.com/sitemap.xml.

Hi Adam,
Is dropping the .html ending on a weebly website a work in progress at the moment?
