Is there an option for self-checkout and self-payment for customers? I would like to use Square for a micro market kiosk, but cannot find anything concrete on whether this API exists.

there are some third parties that have built self check out kiosks on the Square API.

I looked through the applications are there does not seem to be anyhting for self-service and self-payment options. Is there an additional marketplace?

there isn't a list from Square. This thread has some of the people making apps and or chat bots. I can't recommend any as I haven't used any.
