How to get name and social to match?

I'm trying to sign up for an account but it's saying that my name & my Social Security # do not match but I have not changed my name within the last 6 months and my social security has been the same my whole life. It told me that if I've ever changed my name to use my previous name but I don't want that name associated with anything I do or put on any receipts that may be printed out for my business. Please help! Thank you ahead of time.
