New Features: View Loyalty Information in Checkout, Transfer and Delete Loyalty Account and more

We have launched a few new features for Square Loyalty:

 

  • Loyalty Information in the Checkout experience
  • Transfer and Delete Loyalty Accounts
  • New Loyalty Profile Enhancements

To experience any of these new features, please make sure you have the latest version of your Square Point of Sale App downloaded on your device. Here are instructions on how to make sure you have the latest version.

 

View Loyalty Information in the Checkout Experience

 

Now when you’re ringing up a customer, you can see the number of points and rewards they can earn right in the Checkout section of the transaction.

 

When items that qualify for loyalty points are added to the current sale, you will see gray text that calls out if the items qualify for Loyalty points. If you select that text, you will be prompted to add your customer to make sure they can redeem the points. 

 

In addition, once the customer is added to the sale, you can also see if they have any rewards available that can be added from the Current Sale screen as well.

 

We hope this will remind your employees to enroll more customers into your loyalty program!

 

 

 

 

 

Easily transfer and delete Loyalty accounts

 

Easily transfer a Loyalty account to another customer profile or delete an account completely from your Square Point of Sale app or your Square Dashboard. 

 

To do so:

  1. Go to your Customers Tab in the Point of Sale App or online Dashboard. 
  2. Select the customer profile you would like to view.
  3. Select the 3 dots under the Loyalty section.
  4. Select Transfer Loyalty Account to transfer the account to another customer
  5. Select Delete Loyalty Account if you or your customer want to remove their information from your Loyalty program. 

By deleting a Loyalty account, your customer's profile will still stay in your Directory, but they will no longer be registered to your Loyalty Program.

Enhanced Loyalty information in customer profiles

 

We have improved the Loyalty information in your customer's profile to provide more information to you. See which rewards customers qualify for, their lifetime points, and when they first enrolled in your program all in one place.
