Reader not staying charged

Hi, my card reader is not holding charge? It beeps and red light flashes once after 30sec of connecting for use, reader is less than a year old, is this normal or how do i fix this?

Thanks for getting in touch and sorry to hear you're having trouble with your reader.

 

Just checking that you've recently charged the battery with the USB cable that came in the package? If not, give it a charge!

 

If you've been regularly charging the reader and it's simply not holding a charge any more, the reader is replaceable under warranty. See here for more, or if you purchased the reader at retail and still have the receipt you can replace it at the original place of purchase.
