How can I change the backround color of my footer to a solid color?

Re: Footer

You'll probably need to make some CSS changes to do that, @DS4. Are you familiar with HTML and CSS at all?

Yes; I'm somehwat familiar. Step by step directions would be very helpful.

Re: Footer

Generally speaking, you'll inspect the code on your live site to find out which element will have the color, then override it with something like this in Settings > SEO > Header Code:

<style>
.footer-wrap { background: #fff !important; }
</style>

That will do it on the live site but not in the editor, but has the benifit of not customizing your theme.

Re: Footer

I'm sorry, but that's over my head. I could probably figure it out if I could get to the code, but there doesn't seem to be a way to that through the editor.

Re: Footer

Is your site live, @DS4? I can help by viewing the live code.

Re: Footer

Ok, try this in Settings > SEO > Header Code to change it on the live site:

<style>
	#footer-wrap .container
	{
		background: #fff !important;
		padding: 0 7px 20px !important;
	}
</style>
