I use square for providing services, but want to know what companies are authorized to sell through square.

Pretty much the rule of thumb is that so long as there is an exchange of goods or services, and you are not using Square to process membership fees and commissions: you're not violating this part of our Terms of Service (TOS). For example, if you are selling actual products, like Mary Kay, you shouldn't run into any issues.
Having said that, our Compliance Team will always make the final determination with regards to violations of our TOS.
