When you sell an eGift Card from the Point of Sale app (iOS only at this time) you'll have the option to enter one email address — and you should enter the sender's email. That way the sender can print or forward the eGift Card to the recipient. The eGift Card design is quite simple and doesn't include either sender/recipient'sname so that it can be printed/forwarded to the recipient and still 'make sense'. 

Keep in mind your customers have additional options when sending an eGift Card from your eGift Card order site. From your online order site the sender can enter the recipient's email address, add a custom message, and choose to send the eGift Card on a future date.
