Trying to install the square app on an lg tablet g pad 7.0 android running the newest android software but I get a thing telling me square won’t work on this version but the compatible devices in square say it should. I’m at a loss.

I'm sorry for the frustration @Jkbathproducts! What's the full name of the tablet? Our compatibility site shows that the following are supported:

There are few other basic requirements to use the app on an Android device, but if you have another model it could mean we haven't tested it yet and we can't guarantee it will work with the Square Point of Sale app.
