Re: Square in the U.S. overseas.

I recently bought square sytem and would like to use it overseas, I used square in my business in the US and always worked great for me. I'm currently in Peru and I know I can't take creditcard with my sytem but I'd like to get some help on how to get my system running at least to take cash and use a Visa POS system to take credtcards.

Hi @giancarlo246 - Thanks for your question! You can only process payments in the country where your Square account is registered. So if you started your Square account linked to a US address and account, you will only be able to process payments in the US. Unfortunately, since Square is not available in Peru, you will not be able to procses payments there.

You can use the POS as Register World to track inventory and cash sales, but you won't be able to charge cards. Sorry about this!
