Can I use my CELLULAR (GSM) enabled ipad2 to process Square transactions while using the ipad's WiFi

Can I use my CELLULAR (GSM) enabled ipad2 to process Square transactions while using the ipad connected to WiFi (no Internet) to print to a LAN based receipt printer like Star-Micronics TSP143iiLAN?????

I don't believe that will work.  An iPad can either be connected to the cellular data network or a wifi network.  The wifi network would have to have internet in this case.

@ijakebake You need to have a strong WiFi connection to use the Star Micronics TSP143IIILAN.

 

Keep in mind, to set up your ethernet printer you'll need to have a wireless router with an ethernet port, as well as a WiFi connection. 

 

As @VanKalkerFarms mentioned (thanks!) if your iPad has both cellular and WiFi your iPad will use one or the other. 

 

In this case, it  you'd need to use WiFi on your iPad (not cellular data) to use the printer.
