I'm trying to get rid of problems with facebook fetcher because our site is always asked to input a captcha so it gets shared on facebook.
I've already got rid of most of those problems but now I think the error is being created by your system. Without SSL enabled there isn't a single problem with the redirect but as soon as I activated it the issue returns.
The issue is on the default og:url being pointed to the http instead of the https.
how can I fix this?
What site are you having trouble with, @Campintegra?
Is the SEO section in the Settings tab the only place you put that OG code? I'm not seeing any redirects setup, and your page has been published recently. :/ Maybe Adam has another thought, and I'll check with him tomorrow.
Actually, maybe this also has something to do with it.. when I run the url through Facebook Debugger and try to scrape it, it is telling me the last scrape was done yesterday at 4:53am. Usually this updates immediately. Adam?
I'm not sure how often Facebook will rescrape unless you ask it to; I've seen sites where it was using fairly old info, so I don't know what criteria they use to rescrape if you don't manually do it yourself.
I'm not seeing any warnings about a redirect loop when I check campintegra.pt with it, though, so it seems like it might be fixed:
Still happens but open graph debugger when you ask to fetch new scrape information. I don't have any og:url on the SEO configuration because if I do it I would have two og:url one for the http and another for the https. The http one appears by default I can't find where i can cancel it
I'm not seeing that when I use the tool. It shows the og:url for your site as the https version.
