top and bottom of logo/banner cut off

I'm working on putting together a new site, and I'm givign Weebly a shot.  I'm tryign to stick closely to the "vibe" of my old website.

I use a logo that is placed on a long banner image across the top of the site.  The right half of the banner contains a dark, nightime forest image.  The left half contains my logo.

I'm having an issue where the top and bottom of my logo is cut off.. but only for some people. Works fine for me, on a PC.  Users using a tablet, MAC, or phone get the chopped logo... or in one case, the entire left hand side of the logo was chopped off.

I can't figure out how to fix this. If I drag the "slider" down to give more vertical space, it just zooms in on the whole thing.

I'm using the "Barney's Burgers" theme.

Try adding a spacer element to your header area, @Wolfetone - that should help make it taller on all devices so it shows the image better.

I've tried that.  It ruins it completely, or causes it to zoom in and cut off the whoel left side.

Can you post a link to the live site so we can test it out? Thanks so much!

Here you go.  Ignore the leftover food stuff. I'm still fleshing things out.

I wound up putting the logo in the center of the forest field.  That seems to have worked a bit better, but it's still wonky for some people.

Now I'm trying to figure out how to place a manufacturing video UNDER the products listed in one of my category pages.  It forces the video above the listed products.

Also trying to figure out how to do buttons with a custom "Celtic Hand"  font, as well as edit/rename specific nav menu options.

Re: top and bottom of logo/banner cut off

Maybe it's because you changed your theme, but when I tried to add a spacer it made the image appear better on mobile view (in the editor) I didn't try publishing yet but can with your permission. You're not able to place video under the product listings on the category page, unfortuantely. Smiley Sad You can add video to the product pages, though.

There might be a button app you can find, although I'm not too familiar with any that would offer Celtic text. Do you have a .ttf file of the font you have in mind? If so you can add the font to the editor and then change the button font from the Theme tab. This article is a little old, but I was able to install some fonts using it a couple of weeks ago. https://weeblytricks.weebly.com/how-to-install-any-font-into-your-weebly-site.html

One thing to keep in mind is that editing the css/html area with make your theme a custom theme. It may be harder for support reps to assist you as they are not able to trouble shoot custom code.

What are you wanting to edit/rename?

Re: top and bottom of logo/banner cut off

I haven't changed my theme.

Can't add video below the products on the category page?  That's just dumb.  There are a few informative elements I want to place under the models on the category page, that given an overview of that gategory as a whole,  but not within each product page.  Product-specific elements on each product page will be dedicated to product demos for each model.

I tried adding spacer to alter the banner/logo, but it didn't help at all when the logo was placed to the left of the banner.  Withthe logo centered, it's a little better.

On the menu, I want to rename virtually all of the inks and have them point to specific areas, add a contact us link, a warranty page, a section for wiring diagrams, get rid of the two "product links" that for some reason point to a product...get rid of "locations" since there's only one of me...  etc..

If I could get even 10% of the functionality and interactiveness as the website https://www.seymourduncan.com/ , I'd be happy.
