Fees on a free event

Hello,

I am organizing an event.

It is free but people have the possibility to donate (using modifiers) a certain amount of money.

If people decide not to donate, and so the transaction is $0, will there be a fee of 30c on the transaction?

The minimum payment amount with Square is $1. You would not be able to process a transaction for less than $1.

Take a look at the workaround I suggested in this best answer. Would that work? Let me know! 🌸

I have to revisit entirely my campaign and use a different system for registration then.

And as you say maybe have a link for donations in the invite.
