Square Register doesn't work with Square KDS

How does this make sense in any universe? I'm essentially penalized for upgrading hardware.

Sorry about that. I image our Product Team  will expand Square KDS to the Register, just not yet. Keep in mind, this feature is new so we have more work to do to make it available across all products.

It makes no sense that Square can make such a beautiful product and not be available to fully work for restaurants. Isn’t restaurants a big part of their customers?
