Does anyone have a business where you have a 24 hour cancellation policy? Such as a salon/spa

Has anyone ever enforced their cancellation policy and charged a customer for their service if they “No Showed” their appointment?  I told customer on phone about policy and took her credit card information and today was the 2nd time she never came for her appointment.  Today she didn’t even call to cancel.  

Wondering if anyone has ever had this happen to them.

Hi @HW73 - Welcome to the Community!

 

I don't have personal experience with this, but I have heard it from plenty of other Sellers here in the Community. If you haven't checked it out already, you are able to set up a Customer Cancellation Policy through Square Appointments to charge for No-Shows. If you're not signed up with Appointments, you can try it for free for 30 days to see how you like it. Maybe other Sellers here will also be willing to chime in how it's working out for them.
