Added customer name during sale but shows as unknown

I add a new customer while processing a sae on my phone. The name is proerly attached to the trasnaction at that time but when I go into the transaction from the web the name is listed "Unknown". How do I fiix this?

Hello @PeroReal, this sounds weird. 

 

On your app does it display the customer attached to the transaction? 

 

You can still add a customer to the sale after the fact. Just follow these steps:

  1. Sign on to your Square Dashboard.
  2. Click on the Sales tab.
  3. Select Transactions at the top of your screen.
  4. Click on your desired transaction from the list. 
  5. There will be a new window on the right side of your screen.
  6. Click the three dots in the top right corner. 
  7. Then Add Customer.
