Error message unable to process customer's card on file

Hi there, fairly new Square user here, definitely new to using the invoice feature.  I just created an invoice and successfully charged customer's card on file.  Then created a second invoice for same customer and now I'm getting a red banner error across top of screen saying "unable to process card", no other explanation.  Credit card not debit.  Is there a limit on processing same card multiple times within a specific time period?  Not finding any info on this in support.  Thanks in advance!  I have emailed this to support but hoping to get a quicker answer here.

Yes, some banks put daily limits on the cards and the fact that you processed two invoices may have flagged it as questionable.  Wait until tomorrow and it will probably go through.
