Helping a LLC where I am a member NOT the owner; how to do without revenues being linked to me?

I have a personal square account. But I am also trying to set up an account for a samll cooperative of artists where I am only a member, not the owner. When I try to set up the account Square asks for my personal information.

So my question is: How do I keep the account separate so that the cooperative account is not linked to me personally?

Hey @df, welcome to the Seller Community!

This is a great question. To setup a Square account you will have to enter an individuals personal information. The U.S. Patriot and Bank Secrecy act requires U.S. Square account to be tied to an individual. Once the account is setup you can enter the organizations EIN. Once the EIN is entered all sales and tax information will be connected to the organization and not you.

If you still have questions please let me know! 😀
