Every time I try to scan or load a gift card it says Invalid /Declined. Does anyone know why this may be happening? I've tried everything I can think of. 😞

have you used Square gift cards before and they worked or this is a first time?
Yes they were working fine until recently. We got a new ipad and suddenly they no longer worked.

Gift Cards are tied to the account that ordered them. This error message would only show if you tried to load another businesses gift card. I'm taking a stab in the dark here, but it sounds like you might have created a new Square Account when you got your new iPad. Do you have multiple email addresses that you use?
I'm having the same issue. We just changed ownership and a new account was created. How do I get these cards to work with the new account information?
