Inventory Management - Single Location Drop Down Is Unnecessary

I currently only have 1 location. However, every time I use the desktop to go in and modify my inventory, I have to choose a location. This is an additional click for every item I modify and I have hundreds. Why will Square not default to a location if you only have one location? Having to select a location from the drop down menu every time has nearly doubled the time it takes me to update my inventory. I would like to see square fix this by defaulting to a location, especially for users that do not use multiple locations.

Hi @sidecar, thanks for the feedback. At least for the time being this will continue function this way - as you rightly noted, to accommodate multiple locations.

 

It's feedback I've received before and I agree, it's not the best user experience. In any case, we'll continue to share your thoughts around this and will update here if there are any updates in the future.
