Ipad 4th Generation not connecting to stand any longer

as of mid-day on Friday, May 4th, my POS stand stopped working.

our ipad, a 4th generation is not connecting to the stand, nor am I able to open the cash drawer or print receipts. I have re installed the square app, and have tried disconnecting and reconnecting all the usb cords to and from the stand and my only conclusion is that my Ipad 4th gen isn’t able to update to the newest version from apple.
The ipad 4th gens last and final update is 10.3.3 , and newer apple products are at 11.2.2 I think?
Would this cause the problems with our stand?

our shop really depends on cash flow, and we cannot even get our drawer open!
anyone have experience with this yet?

Hi @UnderstoryCoffe - Sorry to hear about this! 

 

Can you share which version of POS you're on? Your iOS looks fine, but you should probably update to whichever is the latest version.

 

If you need more immediate help, you should give our CS team a call to get this resolved. They should be able to get you back up and running.
